Brandan Magee

 

Brandan is 13 years old and has been attending race events with his family since he was young.  He has always shown an interest in the excitement and atmosphere of being around the track. 

 

After dedicating 9 years towards playing Rep Lacrosse, Brandan decided it was time to embark on a new journey.  At 12 years old, he entered his rookie year in 2020, in the Junior Late Model series.  He knew starting as a rookie against drivers that have years of experience, wasn’t going to be an easy task.  However, he was determined to work hard, practice and earn his place in the division. 

 

Brandan’s motivation did not stop there.  He wanted to not only race but make a difference.  Brandan lost one grandmother to cancer in 2014 and his other grandmother is currently fighting her battle with cancer as we speak.  Brandan knew he was racing for them and other cancer fighters and survivors.  He committed to making every lap count towards finding a cure and he donates a portion of his winnings towards the Canadian Cancer Society.

 

Brandan is a caring and fun young boy who isn’t afraid to work hard and go the extra mile.
